Mobile operators see clients leaving Moscow for region

MOSCOW, Oct 9 (PRIME) -- Major mobile operators are witnessing a smooth flow of traffic from the center of Moscow to uptown and the region and an outflow of subscribers from the metro amid the imposition of new coronavirus restrictions, representatives of the operators told PRIME on Friday.

Traffic on the capital city network of T2 RTK Holding, working under brand Tele2, switched from the center outward. “During October 5–9, clients in the center of Moscow downloaded by 5% gigabytes less than a week earlier,” a company representative said.

An MTS spokesperson said that activities of the company’s subscribers in the Moscow metro also declined.
